Seems that both popops (Alyssa's word for oppossum) escaped while I was away.
I came back to find them both stuck to a glue trap under the stove. We thought we had found and thrown all of those but this one we didn't see. One poppop had been there longer than the other. Jill explained that they escaped and she caught one, then that one escaped again a day later.
Both of them were still alive but the one that had been there longer was in such bad shape I had to put him down. I washed up the other as best I could and fed him but he is still full of sticky crap. We are going to try 'goo gone' today. I think he will live. Poppops are tough dudes.
Alyssa also threw a chocolate chip cookie in the fish tank and all but one fish is dead.
